Illustrator and Ceramicist based in East Sussex. I love creating characters, often inspired by folklore and fantasy, and marrying narrative illustration and ceramics to create a story. As well as an independent artist, I am also a studio technician and teacher.

Pottery Studio Technician/Tutor: Clayful Hands (Jan 2025-)

Here I teach a range of classes including taster throwing sessions, unique workshops and pottery painting. I also work as a studio technician, managing reclaim, kiln loading/unloading, and all other areas of studio upkeep with great care to the work of our students and members, and attention to health and safety. I have also lent my hand as an illustrator on occasion, creating posters for workshops, providing custom digital illustrations for the business, and writing/drawing unique physical signs/labels for the studio. Working in a studio is my greatest passion, and I approach each task with enthusiasm and a creative mindset. 

Volunteer Studio Assistant: Eastbourne Studio Pottery (Jan 2025 - May 2026)

During my time as a volunteer I learned about all the different aspects of keeping a pottery studio running smoothly, such as health and safety with regards to clay dust and glazes, the cycle of reclaiming clay, maintaining and taking care of students' work and organising the constant stream in and out of the kiln. Here I also progressed my own practice as a ceramicist, becoming proficient in throwing on the wheel, hand building and glazing. 

Co-Founder/Editor: Lamb Collective - ‘Lamb Zine’ (Dec 2024-)

At Lamb Collective, I work in a team throughout the genesis, admin, design, production and marketing of a zine publication and collective. As editor, I liaise with the team and compose the pages of the publication. I also help to organise workshops, markets, and other activities of the group. This project won the Towner Gallery bursery for Brighton Fringe and saw a successful launch event and exhibition during the festival. We now have two copies of our Zine, which explore different themes of nature and feature a wide variety of responses from artists of different disciplines. As a group we aim to create a unique and welcoming space for local creatives through paying homage to the East Sussex Landscape.

Curatorial and Archival assistant: Royal School of Needlework (Feb, Oct 2025)

At the RSN in Hampton Court Palace I assisted the head curator in handling, researching and cataloguing historical embroideries and textiles in the expansive archive.

Freelance Illustrator: Keep me Breathing - ‘Dreaming of Breathing’ (Summer 2024)

I fully illustrated a 24 page children’s book for Brighton & Hove based charity ‘Keep me Breathing’ . This work was created through digital illustration and graphic design, and required exploration of narrative theme, character design, and page composition.

Exhibitor/Curator: UCA Grad Show 2024 - ‘We Are Here’ (May 2024)

Assisted in the assembly and curation of the graduation show, alongside my involvement as an exhibitor, and management of the exhibition itself and the shop while open to the public.

Painter/Set Design: Heartstopper (Oct 2023)

I designed three original portraits in accordance with the set design for a particular scene, which were selected to be featured in the set design of a number of scenes in the third season of Netflix’s ‘Heartstopper’.

Badge Design: University for the Creative Arts (Sep 2023)

I designed a promotional pin badge for the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham, which was chosen by a vote to be produced and distributed to students and visitors.
